No, not Spielberg's ExtraTerrestial, but worth a visit is Ask Edward Tufte, a forum moderated by Edward Tufte, author of The Visual Display of Quantitative Information (among others), which (IMHO) is one of the classics in the design of information display. The concept of Sparklines alone is worth your time (again, IMHO).
